E-Guardo Smart DefenderWebLogger AddLoginFail Method E-Guardo Web Logger API Documentation
Use this method to add new failed connection for request's IP Address in E-Guardo Smart Defender. E-Guardo will count this fails and will be block this IP Address when the block count is reached. IPAddress is taken automaticaly from current HttpContext. You must provide valid settings to connect server.Please look at the ServiceAddress, ApplicationName and SecurityKey properties for more information.

Return Value

true if login fail added for current request's IP Address in E-Guardo Smart Defender
Remarks

This method is not block an IP Address directly. E-Guardo counts up to the block limit and then blocks the IP Address. MUST be used in and application which can access HttpContext. Typicaly Asp.net applications and Asp.Net web services. Important Notice: Your custom application (WebSite, WebService...) and E-Guardo Smart Defender Must Be Running on Same Computer. Standart edition support only local installations. E-Guardo does not blocks local IP Addresses. Connection IP Addresses must not be local computer IP Address. For applications which can not access HttpContext, please use overloaded method which takes IP Address as input. This method is thread safe.
